Wrapping Up

I've been wrapping stuff up around here.  There is so much to do before you are out, that sometimes you question whether to leave or not.  Today, we had a great time at the school with Agricola Essentials mentoring.  We've really made some great relationships with the kids at the school.  God continues to bless that every week!!  That is just a HUGE opportunity for us each week.

We have the Great Opportunity coming up at the end of the month as well.  I'm really looking forward to it. 

Fall Festival plans have been under way for a few weeks.  We are having a "Western" theme...with mechanical bull and all!!  It's gonna be a blast!!

Soccer practice this evening, where we will also take our team pictures.  This will be fun and interesting. 

Can't wait to leave for Disney on Saturday after the soccer game!!  Yee-haw!!   

I'm still getting used to the new contacts also.

Mentoring...and 55+

I am about to head out to our mentoring at Agricola Elementary.  Then it's off to the 55+ lunch.  No, I'm still 24 years away from being 55, but I love eating with them.  Plus, we're having a smoked brisket today.  It'll be good. 

First Day of Mentoring at AES

Our first day in the Agricola Essentials mentoring partnership was excellent.  We had about 17-18 students.  We divided up into small groups of 3, with a mentor/leader for each small group.  Our virtue/value for this month is: Knowledge--discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do.
